Vanquish Venture Partners is a solo GP founded by Matthew King who has invested over $200M across 36+ companies including Bugatti Rimac, Terran Biosciences, Liquid Death, and MoonPay among others.

After earning his undergraduate degree from Harvard and his MBA from the Yale School of Management, Matt started his career in technology investment banking and sales in Silicon Valley with stints in Morgan Stanley's Tech IBD group in Menlo Park as well as at Microsoft in enterprise software sales in SF.

Matt left the corporate world in 2017 to pursue his passion for investing in innovation and has since focused on backing early-stage startups across frontier technologies (AI, space tech, climate and energy tech), digital assets, life sciences, high-growth CPG, automotive and mobility, luxury brands, and other areas.

Matt is tirelessy dedicated to helping founders that he describes as high-performing savants by connecting them with his limited partner community which is composed of C-suite executives and board members at the world's largest corporations and asset management firms, as well as family-owned enterprises from around the globe.

Matt lives in Miami and makes frequent visits to meet with founders, investors, government officials, and leading families in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
